Sulaymaniyah

Day 1Arrival
Departure from Basra
- Meet at the AL BARON office at 7:00 PM and set off.
Day 2Touring
Sulaymaniyah and Mount Azmar
- Arrival in Sulaymaniyah and check-in.
- In the evening, Jafi Land on Mount Azmar, the largest amusement park in the Middle East, with the cable car and the city spread out below. Paragliding is available for anyone who would like it.
Day 3Excursion
Hawraman and the Ahmad Awa waterfall
- After breakfast, the Hawraman safari along the Iraqi-Iranian border and Biyare.
- Then Ahmad Awa, the largest waterfall in Iraq, by way of the Halabja lake at Penjwen.
Day 4Touring
Konamashi and the Roman theatre
- After breakfast, Konamashi, Sarkalu Barkalu and the Roman theatre.
- Or a barbecue and camping day at Nawroli lake and Horse Island.
Day 5Touring
Dukan, Bride Mountain and on to Duhok
- After breakfast, leave Sulaymaniyah by way of the Dukan lake, the Lower Zab and the Qashqoli resort.
- Then up by boat between the two mountains to Bride Mountain, reaching Duhok in the evening.
- Duhok's highest peak by cable car up Mount Zawa, then the Duhok dam, the Jwan ice-cream parlour and the Mystery Museum. A celebration can be arranged for anyone with a special occasion that day.
Day 6Touring
Zakho, its castle and the old market
- After breakfast, Zakho on the Iraqi-Turkish border: the Turkish river, the Dashte Takh resort and the Sharanish waterfall.
- Then the Bihere cave with its sulphur waters, the new Zakho corniche, the historic Zakho castle and the old market.

Duhok

Day 7Excursion
Solav, Ashawa and the Duhok forests
- After breakfast, the Solav market, the Ashawa waterfall, Kali Shirana and the Fain resort.
- Or a camping and safari day among the forests, or a barbecue day.
Day 8Departure
Home to Basra
- Gather the bags and return to Basra.
